After three years in banking, I learned that the fastest way to hit goals is to actually listen. I became a top-3 sales performer in Northern Illinois by asking better questions, listening with empathy and solving the problem in front of the person. That same habit I bring to my design work now, listen first, understand the real need, then design.

I spent 3 years in banking at Citibank and JPMorgan Chase, where I learned to listen first and solve real problems. I then led UX/research & design + coding for a food sustainability museum exhibit at the Peggy Notebaert Nature Museum, owned the Inland Grove Shopify website redesign (IA, navigation, checkout), and now work at Alacriti as a Junior Digital Designer in fintech.

After spending years helping people navigate online banking for everyday transactions, I saw the fear and confusion in their eyes. My goal is to shape fintech redesigns so people feel comfortable and confident managing their money online, without fear.
